About this game

Destroy All Humans! casts you as the invader in a remake of the alien action adventure. Crypto-137 harvests human DNA and pursues the overthrow of the US government. On the ground, alien weapons attack directly, while psychokinesis lets you throw enemies or turn surrounding objects against them. The invasion also involves entering human society in disguise and exploring American cities with a jetpack. Taking control of the flying saucer changes the action to destroying buildings from the air. These different tools carry the story from infiltration to open destruction. The supplied edition includes the restored Lost Mission of Area 42 and the Skin Pack DLC.

7.3 / 10Nintendo Switch 2

An invasion playground for players who enjoy mixing impersonation with exaggerated destruction.

Disguises, thrown objects and saucer attacks offer different ways to enact the alien fantasy. That contrast may appeal most when you enjoy changing the scale of the action, from slipping into human society to wrecking its buildings.

Strengths

  • Psychokinesis can reward interest in using objects as improvised weapons.
  • Jetpack exploration and saucer attacks offer distinct perspectives on the invasion.

Who it is for: Players drawn to villain protagonists, alien weapons and the choice between infiltration and direct attack.

Play notes: The premise involves attacking humans and destroying their buildings; the supplied edition supports one player.
