About this game
Deadpool is a PlayStation 3 shooter game centered on puzzle, maze, or device solving, aiming and shooting, and positioning and evasion. Missions pace progress through enemy waves, routes, objectives, and weapon opportunities, with progress divided into stages, tasks, matches, or growth milestones that make immediate goals understandable. Its value depends on whether these rules continue to create judgment and room for mastery rather than on length, sales, or series recognition. Short campaigns are judged by repeat-challenge value, while longer ones are judged by variety, pacing, and recovery after failure. Aiming feedback, projectiles, hits, and danger zones need to remain readable, while HD 3D scenes, Blu-ray data streaming, surround audio, and cinematic presentation need to preserve action, state, and text readability together. The genre-specific limitation is that camera turning, aiming methods, dense encounters, and peripheral support can increase control pressure. Platform conditions also include Blu-ray loading, HDD installs, system software, DualShock 3 battery life, Move accessories, resolution and frame rate, and retired online services affect present-day use. This description covers only this platform release and does not import features or conveniences from remasters, emulators, or other console editions.

PlayStation 3AI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
Sharp character comedy over repetitive PS3 action.
Deadpool understands the value of its protagonist talking through the action, mocking the player and turning comic panels into scenes. The jokes and personality are its clearest strengths. Guns, swords and teleporting initially give combat an energetic rhythm, but repeated enemy waves, durable targets and limited upgrades make later fights feel like routine clearing. A short campaign mixes platforming and spectacle without developing the rules much further. The game is easier to recommend for its comic voice than for the depth of its encounters. The direct PlayStation 3 review also notes camera and platforming friction when the action becomes crowded. That is the reviewed PS3 experience, not a copied technical claim from Xbox 360. Existing fans of the character will have the best reason to enjoy the dense banter and self-mockery while accepting repeated enemy groups. Players wanting lasting mechanical depth will find that the witty packaging cannot cover how narrow the encounters become.
Strengths
- Comic staging and persistent humor.
Weaknesses
- Repeated waves and camera/platforming friction.
Who it is for: Fans of Deadpool’s comic voice.
Play notes: Only the original 2013 PS3 edition is assessed.
