About this game

Contra puts a commando through a sequence of enemy defenses. You move, jump and aim your weapon while crossing side-view terrain, climbing a waterfall section and advancing through forward-facing bases. Shooting capsules releases power-ups such as the Spread Gun, Laser and Machine Gun. Collecting one changes your firepower for the next stretch. A second player can join the mission as a teammate, so both players must deal with enemy attacks while moving through the same defenses.
