About this game
The runner climbs ladders, crosses bars and digs to either side while collecting gold. Robots pursue through stages that scroll in both directions. Trapping them can clear a route or turn a robot into a temporary foothold. Taking gold in the wrong order or mistiming a closing hole can leave no escape. Pause-and-search lets you inspect the unseen layout before moving; secret codes support selecting later stages.
Collected in series
Lode Runner is an action-puzzle series about collecting gold while enemies close in. You run, climb and dig holes in the floor to trap pursuers or reach treasure, turning a simple-looking maze into a test of routes and timing.

An action puzzle that makes route order matter.
The same robot can threaten a route or help complete it. Looking ahead is valuable because a locally safe move can spoil the escape.
Strengths
- Enemy behavior becomes part of the route-building toolkit.
Who it is for: Players who enjoy planning sequences under pursuit.
