About this game
Burai Fighter asks you to break through enemy bases using direct movement, sustained fire and Cobalt Bombs. In side-view stages, holding the fire button preserves your firing direction while you move another way; release and re-aim to change it. Other stages switch to an overhead view, where a starting radar shows the ship and base positions. These require finding and destroying bases rather than simply following the scrolling route. Difficulty settings alter the challenge.

A shooter that separates aiming from evasive movement.
Locking direction makes positioning a deliberate choice. The overhead sections also ask for orientation and a remembered target location.
