About this game
Broforce puts a paramilitary squad's firepower at the center of a run-and-gun campaign. Each bro brings a different weapon and special attack, so the character in play changes the tools available for clearing enemies. Terrain can be destroyed, and explosive barrels provide another way to tear through the battlefield; shooting also changes the space you move through. Play alone or bring together a cooperative group on one console. The free Broforce Forever update expands the campaign with additional unlocks and adds Muscle Temple challenge levels. Across these missions, the recurring task is to apply the current bro's attacks to enemies and destructible surroundings. Pixel art and explicit bloody violence frame the action.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
Best suited to players who enjoy improvising with firepower and a changing battlefield.
Destructible terrain makes weapon use a spatial decision as well as an attack, while each bro's equipment suggests a different approach. Cooperative play adds appeal for groups that enjoy adapting together rather than preserving a perfectly controlled route.
Strengths
- Destruction can turn the scenery into another tool for dealing with opposition.
- Distinct weapons and special attacks give players a concrete reason to learn different bros.
Weaknesses
- A battlefield that can be torn apart may be less appealing if you prefer fixed routes and predictable terrain.
Who it is for: Run-and-gun fans and local groups interested in weapon variety and destructive experimentation.
Play notes: The pixel-art action includes bloody violence and dismemberment.
