About this game
A-Men is a PlayStation Vita action game centered on platform movement and landing judgment, puzzle, maze, or device solving, and story, case, or mission progress. Stages build pressure through routes, enemy patterns, and changing objectives, with progress divided into stages, tasks, matches, or growth milestones that make immediate goals understandable. Its value depends on whether these rules continue to create judgment and room for mastery rather than on length, sales, or series recognition. Short campaigns are judged by repeat-challenge value, while longer ones are judged by variety, pacing, and recovery after failure. Animation, hits, camera behavior, and readable hazards determine whether feedback remains dependable, while the high-density portable display, stereo audio, touch feedback, and handheld interface need to keep text, targets, and state changes clear at a small scale. The genre-specific limitation is that camera behavior, collision rules, input mapping, and repeated ground after failure can raise the entry barrier. Platform conditions also include proprietary memory cards, touch or gyroscope input, battery life, download availability, cross-platform features, and retired online services affect the current release. This description covers only this platform release and does not import features or conveniences from remasters, emulators, or other console editions.
Collected in series
A-Men is a puzzle-platform series about getting a small team past dangerous robots and traps. Different character abilities give you different ways to tackle a stage. Watching the route and working out who should act next are central to the challenge.

PlayStation VitaAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
Clever cooperation is burdened by costly recovery after mistakes.
The military cast suggests combat, but the real attraction is coordinating specialist abilities. Observing the environment and sequencing actions so every soldier can evacuate creates satisfying puzzle solutions. Different areas supply welcome changes of scenery and obstacles. Failure is less productive than it should be, however: limited saving consumes score, and a mistake can mean repeating a substantial solved section. That discourages experimentation rather than merely demanding thought. Cartoon soldiers and layered backgrounds provide a playful tone without making the puzzles easy. The early Vita review also records shifting skill shortcuts, camera zoom on character changes and intermittent severe slowdown. It suits patient planners more than players seeking uninterrupted action.
Strengths
- Useful specialist combinations.
- Varied environments and obstacles.
Weaknesses
- Long repeated sections.
- Shortcut, camera and slowdown friction.
Who it is for: Patient cooperative-puzzle planners.
Play notes: Historical original ps-vita scope; present network features excluded.
