Portal is Valve’s science-fiction puzzle series about connecting spaces inside the unsettling laboratories of Aperture Science. Its first-person adventures mix physical experimentation with dry humour, while a licensed crossover takes those ideas into bridge building. Representative games: Portal (2007): Link two openings to move yourself and objects through seemingly impossible routes. Portal 2 (2011): Adds a separate two-player campaign built around coordinating portals with a partner. Bridge Constructor Portal (2017): A licensed crossover combines structural engineering with Aperture’s portals and testing equipment. Suitable for: Curiosity and a willingness to test an odd idea matter here. Players who enjoy spatial puzzles can work out a route, watch an experiment fail and adjust one small detail until the whole solution clicks.
