About this game

Wizard of Legend makes spell selection and movement the basis of dungeon combat. Assemble a hand of elemental magic, engage enemies directly or let summoned minions fight for you, and chain spells into combinations. The Chaos Trials can be tackled alone or with a local partner, whose spell choices can complement your own. Levels combine random and precrafted rooms, while enemies and bosses gain new abilities as play progresses. Unlocking spells, relics and outfits expands the options for shaping your wizard. In co-op, a downed partner still has a chance to return: defeating enemies can open an opportunity for them to rejoin the fight. The recurring task is to bring your chosen magic into changing encounters.

7.5 / 10Nintendo Switch

A fit for players who want building a spell loadout to lead straight into action.

If discovering combinations matters as much as executing them, the spell hand gives combat a clear space for experimentation. Generated rooms and evolving enemy abilities can keep that experimentation tied to adaptation rather than a single rehearsed route.

Strengths

  • Direct spells and summoned minions offer different approaches to the same combat focus.
  • Complementary co-op loadouts and a chance to revive a partner give cooperation practical decisions.

Weaknesses

  • Players seeking a fixed route to memorize may find generated room layouts less accommodating.

Who it is for: Action players interested in spell combinations, changing encounters and coordinating magic with a nearby partner.

Play notes: The documented cooperative Chaos Trials mode is local and supports two players.
