About this game
In the English NES version, Soaring Eagle travels in search of totems, the game’s special weapons and powers. After the opening world, the next six can be tackled in any order; completing them unlocks the final world. Each clear adds an ability that can be selected during play, including flame shots, flight or freezing enemies. Enemies also leave collectible items, connecting combat to the supplies and powers used along the journey.
