About this game
Nintendo’s NES Tetris asks you to move and rotate falling pieces so that complete horizontal lines disappear. Keeping the stack from reaching the top gives every placement a consequence for the space left below. A-Type continues while you clear lines, with the level increasing during play. B-Type instead sets a target of 25 lines, using a chosen starting height and fixed level. A Next display previews the following piece. These are the Nintendo NES rules, without importing later Tetris features.
Collected in series
Tetris is a falling-block puzzle series about fitting four-square pieces into complete horizontal lines. Rotate and place each piece while leaving room for the next; its many variations turn that simple task into everything from competitive pressure to an audiovisual journey.

Strengths
- Endurance and a fixed target offer distinct uses of the same rules.
