About this game

No Man’s Sky is an open-world exploration and survival game set across a procedurally generated universe. Players travel between space and planetary surfaces, examining landscapes, recording life and searching for remnants of earlier civilisations. Destinations and pace can follow a chosen objective or an unexpected discovery. Gathering resources, trading and preparing equipment sustain further travel. Ships and protective gear must meet environmental dangers and hostile encounters, making supplies part of the decision to continue. Construction offers another direction for development. The results of one expedition can therefore become the starting resources and preparations for the next.
