About this game

Mega Man sets out after a robot army apparently led by Proto Man. Choose a stage, jump and slide past hazards and defeat its boss to obtain a new weapon. The charged Mega Buster provides another attack by holding and releasing the fire button. Weapons and companion support are selected from a menu and have their own energy supplies. Letter plates hidden across the initial stages give another collection goal: gathering them all unlocks Beat. Progress therefore changes both the stages you have cleared and the tools available for the next attempt.
