About this game

Mega Man sets out against Dr. Cossack’s robot forces. Each defeated boss grants a weapon with its own attack range or effect, giving you choices as you move through subsequent challenges. The basic Mega Buster now charges a stronger shot, trading preparation time for greater damage. Movement tools also matter: Wire and Balloon can be found during stages, and Rush provides assistance. Selecting equipment and deciding when to release a charged shot sit alongside the platforming and shooting.

8.8 / 10Famicom / NES

For players who enjoy choosing between immediate fire and a prepared shot.

Charging adds a timing decision to the basic weapon, while acquired weapons and movement items offer other solutions. This suits players who like planning an action before committing.

Strengths

  • The basic weapon itself provides a preparation-versus-damage choice.

Who it is for: Players who enjoy deliberate shot timing and equipment-based platform action.
