About this game
Injustice - Gods Among Us is a Wii U fighting game centered on combat encounters, story, case, or mission progress, and move inputs. Short bouts use character differences and rising difficulty for variety, with progress divided into stages, tasks, matches, or growth milestones that make its immediate goals understandable. Its value depends on whether these rules continue to create judgment and room for mastery rather than on length, sales, or series recognition. Short campaigns are judged by repeat-challenge value, while longer ones are judged by variety, pacing, and recovery after failure. Animation, hit feedback, and readable arenas create match tension, while HD television output and the GamePad screen need to divide maps, status, touch input, and primary focus clearly. The genre-specific limitation is that button or motion mapping, move recognition, networking, and cpu behavior can affect balance. Platform conditions also include GamePad battery life and range, shifts between two screens, loading, performance, and retired online and Miiverse services affect the current release. This description covers only this platform release and does not import features from other editions.

Accessible superhero combat with substantial modes and uneven balance.
Injustice: Gods Among Us on Wii U turns DC rivalries into accessible one-on-one fights. Light, medium and heavy attacks are easy to learn, while character traits, meter wagers and interactive stage objects add choices about position and resources. A twelve-chapter campaign introduces several fighters, although its parallel-world plot can be confusing. Battles with different rules and numerous S.T.A.R. Labs missions give solo players much more to do after the story. The reviewed roster had balance problems, and some missions raised difficulty abruptly. Detailed fighters, voiced scenes and spectacular super moves make the comic-book conflict vivid. A direct Wii U review reports little frame-rate change during busy fights, a GamePad combo list or off-TV option, and support for Pro and Classic controllers. This evaluates that 2013 console build. Its observations of online matches do not establish present service availability, and later balance changes are outside the reviewed basis.
Strengths
- Character traits, interactive arenas and Wii U input options add choice.
Weaknesses
- The reviewed roster is uneven and some missions spike in difficulty.
Who it is for: DC fans and fighters who want approachable attacks with deeper meter decisions.
Play notes: Based on the 2013 North American Wii U review, not current online status.
