About this game
Hotline Miami Collection brings together Hotline Miami and Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number. In the original, messages on an answering machine send the protagonist into violent confrontations. Gunfire and close-range attacks provide different ways to fight, while lethal shots make the timing of each move consequential. The sequel follows several factions and changes the combat techniques available as their stories intersect. Weapons, movements and melee attacks introduce variations as you progress, asking you to adapt your approach to the current part of the story. Neon imagery runs through the collection, framing its violence in an intentionally stylized setting.

A fit for players who enjoy committing to precise attacks and adapting their combat approach.
The original's lethal gunfire makes careful timing a meaningful priority. The sequel's changing factions can keep that focus from settling into one familiar combat routine.
Strengths
- Faction-specific combat variations offer a reason to rethink how you attack.
Weaknesses
- The original's lethal shots may frustrate players who prefer room to absorb mistakes.
Who it is for: Players drawn to demanding combat decisions and shifting narrative viewpoints.
Play notes: Contains intense violence and blood and gore.
