About this game
Dead by Daylight builds its standard matches around opposing jobs. As a Survivor, you evade the Killer and repair generators toward escape, deciding whether to cooperate with the others or put your own survival first. As the Killer, you use your character’s particular power to hunt and sacrifice the opposing team. The horror cast spans slasher figures and supernatural threats, but learning a role also involves progression beyond an individual pursuit. Killers earn Bloodpoints and spend them in the Bloodweb on perks, add-ons and offerings. This creates a continuing equipment-and-ability layer alongside the immediate contest between a hunter and a group trying to get away.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
Best aligned with players who enjoy human opposition and uneasy cooperation.
The opposing objectives can turn a simple decision to keep repairing into a question about exposure and team priorities. Killer-specific powers and Bloodweb choices offer a separate attraction for players who prefer developing a hunting approach.
Strengths
- Contrasting roles offer different ways to approach the same pursuit.
- Killer progression gives players a reason to think about preparation as well as the chase.
Weaknesses
- Players who want complete control over a team's decisions may find the Survivors’ freedom to cooperate or act selfishly frustrating.
Who it is for: Groups comfortable with competing priorities, and solo competitors interested in learning a Killer’s power.
Play notes: A persistent connection and Nintendo Switch Online membership are required for online play; version mismatches temporarily prevent cross-play with other platforms.
