About this game
A digitised human consciousness in an artificial body reaches Erlin’s Eye, a damaged station on the edge of an interstellar economy. The corporation that owns that body wants it back. Finding work and meeting the station’s inhabitants are part of making a life beyond its control. Each cycle provides dice to spend on actions. Their values influence which tasks are worth attempting, while clocks and personal drives track developments over time. Spending a useful die on immediate survival means choosing what else must wait, connecting everyday labour to relationships, alliances and possible futures.

Citizen Sleeper
Small daily decisions make survival and belonging feel closely connected.
Citizen Sleeper succeeds by making limited actions carry social consequences. A useful die can secure immediate survival, but using it elsewhere may develop a relationship or move a longer project forward. Those competing needs turn the station into a place made of obligations and opportunities rather than a checklist of quests. Interwoven stories also give progress a personal character: what matters is not only what has been completed, but whom the player has chosen to help. The delivery demands sustained reading, and dense passages can slow the connection between decision and result. Portraits and restrained music give the community a strong identity without removing that demand. It is especially effective for someone who enjoys considering the human cost of a resource decision; players seeking frequent physical action should expect a quieter, text-led rhythm.
Strengths
- Resource decisions connect naturally with relationships and branching stories.
Weaknesses
- Dense reading can interrupt the pace of decisions.
Who it is for: Readers who enjoy narrative choices and resource trade-offs.
