Bomberman ’93 is a maze action game built around placing bombs. Its single-player Normal Mode contains forty-eight stages across six rounds. Clearing enemies and finding the hidden exit before time runs out allows the player to advance. Bomb kicking changes where explosives sit, while traps, conveyor belts and items alter the routes through the arena. Battle Game supports up to five players, bringing blast ranges, escape space and opponents’ positions into the same contest. Multiplayer requires the appropriate additional control accessories.
