About this game

A single controller moves Gurin and Malon together: vertical movement agrees, but left and right are reversed between them. Route choices must therefore work for both penguins, even when walls give them different paths. Reach the exit together before time expires. Spray can clear spiders and webs or free a trapped partner; birds exchange the pair’s positions. You solve each maze by arranging where both characters will be after the same input.

8.1 / 10Famicom / NES

Mirrored movement turns every step into a paired decision.

The exit demands synchronization, so making progress with one penguin is only useful if the other can still be aligned.

Strengths

  • One set of inputs creates two linked routes.

Who it is for: Players who enjoy spatial puzzles with real-time movement.
