About this game
B3 Game Expo For Bees is a Wii U puzzle game centered on rule recognition, spatial or logical judgment, and successive puzzle solving. Compact stages add conditions and tighter constraints over time, with progress divided into stages, tasks, matches, or growth milestones that make its immediate goals understandable. Its value depends on whether these rules continue to create judgment and room for mastery rather than on length, sales, or series recognition. Short campaigns are judged by repeat-challenge value, while longer ones are judged by variety, pacing, and recovery after failure. Graphics, audio, touch, or pointer feedback need to support decisions directly, while HD television output and the GamePad screen need to divide maps, status, touch input, and primary focus clearly. The genre-specific limitation is that limited explanations, input recognition, repetition, or abrupt difficulty can stall progress. Platform conditions also include GamePad battery life and range, shifts between two screens, loading, performance, and retired online and Miiverse services affect the current release. This description covers only this platform release and does not import features from other editions.

Charming GamePad bee adventure that runs out of activities.
B3 Game Expo for Bees on Wii U imagines a videogame convention inside a hive. As a bee security guard, players scan objects through a visor, fly between rooms and occasionally shoot robots. The GamePad provides a map and a livestream chat, fitting the bee-tech setting rather than feeling like a detached extra. In the direct Wii U account, flight and camera movement feel fluid, and the basic weapon is easy to use. Colorful rooms, small characters and gentle jokes about the game industry lend the adventure charm. There is simply too little to do with its ideas. The reviewer encountered only a few uncomplicated fights, around a dozen small rooms, repeated spaces and obvious gadget uses. Even with a period of being stuck, the journey ended in under two hours. Numerous typos also disrupt the otherwise playful writing. This is a pleasant curiosity for someone seeking a short, odd Wii U adventure, but it has limited room to develop its mechanics. The assessment concerns the 2016 North American release; it makes no present-day eShop availability claim.
Strengths
- Flight, scanning and second-screen tools fit the hive.
Weaknesses
- Few rooms, foes or puzzle changes, plus rough text.
Who it is for: Wii U players who enjoy brief offbeat adventures.
Play notes: Based on the 2016 North American Wii U release; current store access unverified.
