About this game
Amanda Ripley comes to Sevastopol after learning that her missing mother's ship recorder has been found. Her investigation becomes a struggle to survive aboard the station, where an Alien hunts her. Explore the environment for resources and turn what you find into improvised weapons and deterrents. Moving onward involves evasion as well as scavenging: ventilation ducts and shadowed spaces form part of the environment you can use to avoid the creature. The art direction draws on the original Alien film. This Nintendo Switch release includes all seven DLC packs and supports gyroscopic aiming and HD rumble, adding motion-based input and controller feedback to the survival setup.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
Best aligned with players who enjoy resourceful survival under pursuit.
Scavenging and crafting give exploration a practical purpose, while evasion makes the surrounding spaces part of your response to the Alien. These systems suggest an experience better suited to patient survival decisions than a preference for confronting every threat directly.
Strengths
- Crafting deterrents from gathered resources gives exploration a tangible role in survival.
- Vents and shadows provide environmental choices for players who enjoy evading a pursuer.
Weaknesses
- The emphasis on avoiding pursuit may feel restrictive to players seeking frequent direct confrontations.
Who it is for: Players interested in the original film's visual identity, searching environments for resources and deciding how to evade a pursuing threat.
