About this game

0 Degrees is a PlayStation 4 action game centered on platform movement and landing judgment, puzzle, maze, or device solving, and stage objectives. Stages build pressure through routes, enemy patterns, and changing objectives, with progress divided into stages, tasks, matches, or growth milestones that make immediate goals understandable. Its value depends on whether these rules continue to create judgment and room for mastery rather than on length, sales, or series recognition. Short campaigns are judged by repeat-challenge value, while longer ones are judged by variety, pacing, and recovery after failure. Animation, hits, camera behavior, and readable hazards determine whether feedback remains dependable, while HD output, HDR or PS4 Pro modes, HDD streaming, surround audio, and television-distance interfaces need to preserve action, state, and text readability together. The genre-specific limitation is that camera behavior, collision rules, input mapping, and repeated ground after failure can raise the entry barrier. Platform conditions also include HDD installs and loading, patch version, storage space, DualShock 4 battery life, PS Camera or PS VR requirements, visual modes, frame rate, and network services affect the current release. This description covers only this platform release and does not import features or conveniences from remasters, emulators, or other console editions.

A neat route-building idea ends before its depth develops.

0 Degrees makes arranging the path part of progressing through it. A limited supply of ice blocks can create steps, hold switches or cover dangerous ground, adding spatial choices to ordinary platforming. Later, freezing blocks in midair offers another way across large gaps. Single-screen objectives are easy to understand, and official PS4 recovery rules allow restarting reached stages instead of repeating the whole journey after one mistake. Most of the forty puzzles only lightly explore these ideas, though. The more promising freezing mechanic arrives late and soon gives way to the ending, leaving experienced players wanting fuller combinations. Snowy pixel scenery keeps the experience coherent and modest, while sound has little presence. It suits a brief route-building diversion rather than sustained difficulty growth or a large set of demanding puzzles.

Strengths

  • Ice routes and midair freezing encourage spatial planning
  • Reached-stage restarts limit repeated campaign recovery

Weaknesses

  • Late mechanics receive little development
  • Sparse sound and limited lasting variation

Who it is for: Players looking for light route puzzles and a compact platform adventure.

Play notes: PS4 recovery is officially documented; unspecified-hardware response, collisions and current performance are not transferred.
