Overview

Dead Rising is Capcom’s zombie action series, where everyday objects become weapons in crowded malls and streets. You fight through hordes, help survivors and investigate outbreaks, with grisly violence often interrupted by ridiculous costumes and improvised attacks. Representative games: Dead Rising (2006): Traps Frank West in a shopping mall where a running clock forces choices between investigating events and rescuing survivors. Dead Rising 2 (2010): Lets you combine ordinary objects into unlikely weapons while navigating Fortune City’s zombie outbreak. Dead Rising 3 (2013): Expands the action across Los Perdidos and adds combo vehicles for ploughing through crowded streets.
