Overview

NBA Live is EA Sports’ basketball series about creating space, moving the ball and choosing the right moment to shoot. Alongside team competition, different entries explore aerial moves, All-Star events and the progress of your own player. Representative games: NBA Live 95 (1994): Uses an angled court view to frame its five-on-five basketball. NBA Live 2005 (2004): Freestyle Air lets you change a shot while already airborne. NBA Live 19 (2018): The One builds a created-player journey around street basketball and, for male players, an NBA career. Suitable for: For players who enjoy working a defense with passes and dribbles before committing to a shot. Depending on the entry, you can focus on team basketball or develop a personal playing style through a created player.
