Overview

Metal Max sends bounty hunters into a ruined world where a well-equipped tank can be a treasured travelling companion. Exploring the wasteland, hunting monsters and rebuilding armed vehicles give its RPG adventures a distinctly mechanical personality. Representative games: Metal Max (1991): Choose your own hunting priorities while upgrading tank parts for turn-based battles. Metal Max 2 (1993): Adds a fighting dog to the human-and-tank party, with the canine companion acting independently in combat.
