ClayFighter is a one-on-one fighting series starring clay characters with absurd personalities. Behind the rubbery faces and slapstick attacks, you judge distance, block incoming blows and find openings for punches, kicks and character-specific special moves. Representative games: ClayFighter (1993): Establishes the series’ clay-animation look with a cast of bizarre fighters battling one-on-one. ClayFighter 2: Judgment Clay (1995): Introduces new matchups with fighters including a boxing kangaroo and an upright octopus. ClayFighter 63⅓ (1997): Moves the fighting into 3D arenas and adds exaggerated Claytality finishing moves.
