About this game
Unravel Two turns the thread between its characters into a tool for crossing obstacles. Hold one Yarny in position while the other swings across a gap, or tie yarn between attachment points to make a bridge for characters and objects. Playing alone still means managing both characters: carry them together while moving, then separate them and switch control when a puzzle needs two positions. The adventure moves through natural landscapes, with story stages reached through portals in a lighthouse. Bonus stages have entrances outside its main room. When progress stalls, increasingly specific hints help with puzzles, while a slow-motion option supports platforming sections. Local cooperative play divides control of the connected pair between players.

AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A promising fit for players who enjoy solving movement puzzles through cooperation and positioning.
Swinging from a partner and laying yarn bridges can turn getting across a gap into a shared planning problem. Solo character switching preserves that spatial reasoning, although managing both positions may appeal less to players seeking uninterrupted movement.
Strengths
- The same connecting thread serves both swinging and bridge building, giving cooperation concrete spatial consequences.
- Hints and optional slow motion offer separate ways to address puzzle uncertainty and platforming difficulty.
Weaknesses
- Controlling both characters alone may feel cumbersome if you prefer to stay with one protagonist.
Who it is for: Players interested in local cooperation, spatial puzzles or independently coordinating a connected pair.
Play notes: Handheld mode is single-player only; cooperative progress is stored in the primary player's selected save slot.
