About this game
Shiki Tohno returns to his family home after his father's death, carrying an unusual consequence of a childhood accident: he can see lines that bring death to things. You follow his story through text and stylized scenes composed mostly of still images, with voice acting accompanying the remake's presentation. This edition rebuilds the Near Side portion of Tsukihime around the stories of Arcueid and Ciel. Kinoko Nasu rewrote and expanded the narrative, moving its setting to 2010s Tokyo. Reading Shiki's account and following these character-centred stories form the main activity, with the supernatural premise unfolding through illustrated narrative sequences.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
Best approached as illustrated supernatural fiction for readers drawn to character-centred stories.
The Arcueid and Ciel scenarios give readers distinct character focuses within the same supernatural premise. Voiced scenes and still-image storytelling may suit those who want to settle into a narrative rather than seek frequent physical interaction.
Strengths
- Rewritten scenarios give returning readers a reason to revisit the premise.
- Voice acting can add a performed layer to the illustrated storytelling.
Weaknesses
- The reading-led format may feel too passive for players seeking hands-on action.
Who it is for: Readers interested in supernatural fiction and the Arcueid and Ciel sides of Tsukihime.
Play notes: Graphic violence appears in both illustrations and descriptive text.
