Red Walker arrives in Silver Pines on the trail of missing musician Eddie Velvet. The investigation leads through locked buildings and hidden paths, where clues and supplies share space with the town’s horrors. Fighting a creature and avoiding it are both ways to continue the search. Tools and weapons change which parts of the town can be reached. Carrying something useful for one obstacle also means considering the resources available for the next encounter. Revisiting a route with new equipment connects the detective story to the gradual opening of a2D map.
