Restarting can also reveal unfamiliar events rather than merely another opportunity to raise statistics. Its appeal lies in trying another solution, making failure and repetition productive for players who enjoy experimentation. Distinct worlds provide plenty of motivation to explore, but the central story struggles to connect those encounters with equal emotional force. The August PC retest shows substantial improvement on its specified hardware, while variation between configurations remains important. It is therefore more convincing as an action adventure to investigate repeatedly than as a narrative that carries the player smoothly from beginning to end.
