About this game
Riley returns to Camena to investigate mysterious radio interference. In OXENFREE II: Lost Signals, you explore the town's surrounding landscape and use a handheld radio to solve puzzles, open doors and create portals. The radio makes investigating signals an action you perform as well as the subject of the mystery. A separate walkie-talkie connects you with people elsewhere, letting you ask for information and participate in conversations beyond your immediate surroundings. Dialogue choices affect Riley's relationships, while your decisions also influence the story's outcome. Painterly scenery frames the investigation. The game introduces a story that can be followed without playing the original OXENFREE first.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
Best suited to players who want conversation and investigation to carry a supernatural mystery.
Radio puzzles give the mystery a hands-on element, while remote conversations make attention to other people part of the investigation. Choices affecting both relationships and the outcome may appeal more to players invested in responses than in simply reaching the next scene.
Strengths
- Using the radio to alter the environment connects the mystery's subject to a concrete player action.
- Remote conversations give relationship-focused players additional people to engage with.
Who it is for: Players drawn to supernatural stories, dialogue decisions and environmental investigation.
