About this game

Kirby travels to recover the Star Rod, entering stages from a map that opens as courses are cleared. Level bosses stand between him and the next part of the journey. An enemy can become ammunition or a new ability. Spit it out as a star, or swallow a suitable foe to gain powers such as fire, sparks or a sword. Kirby can also inflate himself to fly, giving you another way to approach terrain before choosing how to attack.

For players who enjoy changing their approach through copied abilities.

The inhale, spit and copy choices give enemies a role beyond being obstacles. Flight adds room to explore how an ability fits the terrain.

Strengths

  • The same enemy can provide a projectile or a new attack.
