About this game
Jigoku Gokuraku Maru combines movement over obstacles with attacks that depend on your position. Strike with hair, punch while crouched or kick while hanging; projectile weapons offer another attack at the cost of chips. Ordinary attacks remain available when that supply runs out. Jump height and distance can be adjusted by holding the button. Hanging from blocks and swinging provides another way through the stage. Six stages each end with a boss, and weapons can be selected while paused before continuing the action.

AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
For players who enjoy acrobatic movement and attacks tied to posture.
Hanging affects both movement and attacking, connecting traversal with combat. Chip-based projectiles can offer an alternative when closing the distance is inconvenient.
Strengths
- Posture links traversal options with the kind of ordinary attack.
Who it is for: Players interested in hanging movement and selective projectile use.
