About this game

Helldivers 2 is a third-person shooter built around squad cooperation. As soldiers of Super Earth, players deploy to hostile planets, complete battlefield objectives and attempt to reach extraction. Before each operation, weapons, equipment and support options can be chosen to suit the mission and the team’s intended roles. Stratagems are called in through input sequences, providing supplies, heavy weapons and orbital attacks. Those same tools can injure allies, so placement, routes and rescue timing require communication. Optional objectives add further decisions during an operation, leaving the squad to weigh continued searching against the risks of delaying its escape.
