About this game
Golf Story follows a golfer returning to his dream of turning professional. You play courses, meet their surrounding communities and tackle challenges across distinct environments. The club also becomes a tool for dealing with problems away from a formal round: hitting a ball can be the answer to something encountered while exploring. Completing challenges, solving puzzles and buying equipment develop your golfer as the story moves between courses and off-course situations. Disc golf, mowing and drone operation broaden the activities beyond conventional golf. Conversations have their own visual language, with speech bubbles moving and changing appearance to express emotion. The adventure links sporting progress to the people and problems around each course.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A golfing adventure for players who enjoy character encounters as much as the next round.
Using the same golf shot for sport and problem-solving could make exploration feel connected to the central activity. Equipment growth and off-course tasks suggest a journey best approached as a character adventure rather than a continuous sequence of rounds.
Strengths
- Off-course golf problems could encourage experimentation with a familiar sporting action.
- Animated dialogue bubbles may give character exchanges an expressive comic rhythm.
Weaknesses
- Mowing and drone tasks may interrupt the focus for players seeking uninterrupted golf.
Who it is for: Players drawn to golfing challenges, character progression and an adventure built around unusual everyday tasks.
