About this game
In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you rebuild a valley affected by the Forgetting while living alongside Disney and Pixar characters. Explore Realms through the Dream Castle, complete quests and spend time gardening, cooking or fishing. Conversations and gifts build friendships, and higher friendship levels unlock further character quests and rewards. You also decide how the neighborhood looks, from its layout and landscaping to the furnishings inside your home. The Nintendo Switch 2 edition increases the item-placement limit to 6,000, expanding the capacity available for decorating while retaining the same combination of village activities, character progression and exploration.

Nintendo Switch 2AI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
Village-building for Disney fans who want character routines and room for larger decorating plans.
Friendship progression and familiar-character activities could appeal to players who want a personal reason for everyday tasks. The increased placement limit may matter especially to decorators planning elaborate neighborhoods.
Strengths
- The higher placement capacity can support decorating ambitions that call for many individual objects.
- Character quests and home design give players both relationship goals and a creative project.
Weaknesses
- A larger decorating allowance does not remove friendship-level requirements for character quests, which may feel like a detour to decoration-focused players.
Who it is for: Players interested in Disney and Pixar friendships who also enjoy planning detailed neighborhoods and furnished homes.
Play notes: The increased item-placement allowance still has a limit of 6,000.
