About this game

The original Famicom Derby Stallion places the player in charge of horses as an owner and breeder. Use the farm for breeding, raising, trading or resting horses, then send race-ready horses to the stable for training and entries. At the racecourse, give the jockey riding instructions and watch the competition; afterward the calendar moves to the next week. Prize money and betting returns support further development, while breeding fees, purchases and ongoing costs can exhaust the funds and end the game.
