About this game

Avalon Code plot, as well as the gameplay, revolves around the Book of Prophecy situated on the touch-sensitive lower screen of the Nintendo DS. In order to record a person, monster, plant, or weapon in its pages, the player performs a “Code Scan”, which is done by striking the target to be recorded with the Book itself (mapped to the B button at all times). The story centers on a young peasant who has been plagued with prophetic nightmares for weeks prior to the beginning of the story. His or her latest dream, shown in the opening cinematic, features a mysterious voice which reveals not… In this Nintendo DS release, shooting and weapon use, area exploration, and story, case, or mission progress form the main playable structure. Story beats, exploration, and progression resources support a longer campaign. The dual screens, stylus, and buttons divide commands from status information where the design calls for it. Characters, world building, interface design, and music carry the atmosphere, while dense text, menu layers, repeated battles, or language dependence can slow portable play. This description applies to the Nintendo DS edition and does not import modes, presentation upgrades, or convenience features from home-console versions, mobile adaptations, later ports, or remakes.

良好 Nintendo DS role-playing experience

Avalon Code centers on shooting and weapon use, area exploration, and story, case, or mission progress. Story beats, exploration, and progression resources support a longer campaign, giving the Nintendo DS release recognizable goals and a coherent portable rhythm. Characters, world building, interface design, and music carry the atmosphere. Its value comes from how the main rules work with the handheld interface, while variety and room for mastery determine the longer-term appeal. Dense text, menu layers, repeated battles, or language dependence can slow portable play, which is the principal limitation on original hardware. GameNavo scores this concrete release across four independently judged dimensions and does not use press aggregates, user ratings, source length, media count, title recognition, or features from another platform.

Strengths

  • shooting and weapon use, and area exploration provide a readable mechanical foundation.
  • Progress is divided into understandable stages, tasks, matches, or chapters.
  • Presentation and interface feedback support the main rules.

Weaknesses

  • Dense text, menu layers, repeated battles, or language dependence can slow portable play.
  • Original language, multiplayer hardware, or touch conditions may affect present-day use.
