About this game
A letter apparently sent by her presumed-dead father brings Ashley to an island, beginning an investigation into her family's past. You explore three-dimensional surroundings, examine possible clues and talk with the people you meet. Progress involves solving the mechanisms blocking your way, sometimes by finding a use for an item you have collected. The DAS gives that investigation a practical reference tool: photograph useful details, then consult them while solving puzzles or review the relationships between characters. This collection remakes the Nintendo DS adventure and its Wii sequel, adding character voices and explorable environments. Optional hints become more detailed as needed, while a separate navigation feature points toward your destination; either form of assistance can be switched off.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A promising fit for mystery readers who want to investigate the spaces around a story.
Photographing details and applying collected items can make observation feel like an active part of the mystery. Adjustable assistance should also suit players who want to follow Ashley's family story without leaving every obstacle entirely to deduction.
Strengths
- The DAS can turn noticing a detail into something useful to revisit during a puzzle.
- Separate puzzle hints and navigation let players choose which part of an investigation needs help.
Who it is for: Players who enjoy connecting conversations, objects and family mysteries, with optional support when a clue fails to click.
Play notes: If independent deduction is the main attraction, opening increasingly detailed hints early may reduce the satisfaction of finding a solution yourself.
