About this game
Wars over Energi, a source of life, shape the world of Alphadia Neo. A young man without his memories meets a displaced princess, and their journey brings them into the struggles between nations and the questions surrounding energi clones. The battle system is turn-based. Each character can use three styles with different benefits, while elemental development raises Energi levels and unlocks skills. Resonant Skills provide combination abilities for the party. Outside combat, fishing spots let players catch fish and exchange them for equipment or items. KEMCO released the PS4 edition in January 2023.

Excellent conveniences and rewarding fishing offset an uneven, easily softened growth curve.
Alphadia Neo links elemental development, party combinations and fishing into an approachable fantasy journey. Preparing character attributes and reading an enemy's intended attack gives the party useful choices, while trading catches for equipment ties the side activity back into exploration. Portraits lend the cast warmth, supported by energetic music and battle sounds. Quest markers, dialogue logs and teleportation are particularly welcome, cutting unnecessary travel. Its main reservation is progression: Easy with experience upgrades can reach the level cap before the story ends, and powerful fishing gear reduces the tension of rare catches. Additional locations and a fishing-linked superboss supply worthwhile postgame goals. It suits players seeking smooth progress with occasional party adjustments; those wanting sustained tactical pressure should raise the difficulty and avoid excessive upgrades.
Strengths
- Elemental growth and linked skills provide practical party-building choices.
- Fishing rewards feed useful equipment back into the adventure.
- Markers, dialogue logs and teleportation reduce repetitive travel.
Weaknesses
- Easy with experience upgrades can exhaust levelling rewards before the ending.
- Powerful fishing gear and upgrades substantially soften trophy-fish challenges.
Who it is for: Best for players who enjoy relaxed turn-based adventures, equipment growth and fishing collections without extensive backtracking. Those seeking tactical pressure should increase difficulty and limit optional upgrades.
Play notes: Teleportation depends on the relevant companion. Easy and upgrades change challenge substantially. Native PS4 and PS5 saves are incompatible; Japanese impressions do not assess English localisation.

| Dimension | Review state | Score | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dimension Workshop, ruins and a tower challenge offer concrete postgame extensions, with panel tasks and fish collections giving direction. Upgraded routes move briskly but can exhaust levelling rewards before the story ends, leaving a complete yet uneven growth arc. | Reviewed | 7.0 / 10 | Not provided |
| Dimension Energi growth, linked skills and enemy previews support useful party choices, with fishing feeding back into equipment. The relaxed loop works, although Easy plus strong upgrades can automate battles and soften fishing challenge; harder difficulty still offers resistance. | Reviewed | 7.2 / 10 | Not provided |
| Dimension Character portraits give the cast warmth, while music and battle sounds sustain the fantasy journey and text carries its dialogue. The presentation is coherent, although selectively revealing portraits can foreshadow a character's importance and soften a surprise. | Reviewed | 7.2 / 10 | Not provided |
| Dimension Map scaling, logs, encounter controls and conditional teleporting substantially reduce travel and information friction; clear-data saving and quick retries support continuation. Usability is a clear strength, with incompatible native PS4/PS5 saves an important migration limitation. | Reviewed | 8.1 / 10 | Not provided |
