About this game
A Knight's Quest is a PlayStation 4 action game centered on platform movement and landing judgment, puzzle, maze, or device solving, and area and route exploration. Stages build pressure through routes, enemy patterns, and changing objectives, with progress divided into stages, tasks, matches, or growth milestones that make immediate goals understandable. Its value depends on whether these rules continue to create judgment and room for mastery rather than on length, sales, or series recognition. Short campaigns are judged by repeat-challenge value, while longer ones are judged by variety, pacing, and recovery after failure. Animation, hits, camera behavior, and readable hazards determine whether feedback remains dependable, while HD output, HDR or PS4 Pro modes, HDD streaming, surround audio, and television-distance interfaces need to preserve action, state, and text readability together. The genre-specific limitation is that camera behavior, collision rules, input mapping, and repeated ground after failure can raise the entry barrier. Platform conditions also include HDD installs and loading, patch version, storage space, DualShock 4 battery life, PS Camera or PS VR requirements, visual modes, frame rate, and network services affect the current release. This description covers only this platform release and does not import features or conveniences from remasters, emulators, or other console editions.

Elemental exploration outshines shallow combat and overlong travel.
Rusty’s attempt to repair a disastrous mistake sends him through bright deserts, frozen terrain and dangerous lava regions. New abilities do more than open a menu: freezing a geyser creates a platform, while climbing and rail grinding expand possible routes. Those environmental puzzles and the humorous conversations give the adventure its strongest identity. Combat is less successful. Basic attacks, counters and lock-on offer limited variety, and hitting an enemy does not interrupt its attack. Quests and collectables fill the world, but repeated backtracking stretches an already large journey. On PS4 Pro, an under-detailed map makes shops and routes unnecessarily difficult to find, alongside some visible pop-in. Players most interested in scenery and traversal have more to enjoy than those looking for sustained combat depth.
Strengths
- Elemental powers support environmental puzzles.
- Varied landscapes and humorous conversations.
Weaknesses
- Limited combat variety.
- Frequent backtracking and weak map guidance.
Who it is for: Players seeking colourful exploration and environmental puzzles.
Play notes: PS4 Pro launch-period experience with substantial return travel.

| Dimension Distinct colour and lighting enliven desert, ice and lava regions, and jokes help a conventional story, though repeated character noises can irritate. | Reviewed | 7.5 / 10 | Not provided |
| Dimension The PS4 Pro map gives too little detail for shops and routes, and visible pop-in occurs; navigation support does not match the world’s size. | Reviewed | 6.2 / 10 | Not provided |
