About this game
In 1942, the player moves a fighter and shoots enemies as the battlefield scrolls vertically. Alongside movement and fire, a roll makes the aircraft temporarily invulnerable and provides a way out of incoming attacks. Rolls are limited. Keeping them in reserve can contribute to a score bonus, so the defensive move also creates a decision between immediate safety and scoring.
Collected in series
Capcom’s 194X aerial shooters send you into scrolling battlefields filled with enemy planes and warships. Dodge incoming fire and collect weapon upgrades as formations close in. Each entry adds its own twist, from evasive loops to charged shots.
