Passing, shooting and defending anchor its NBA matches, with season competition and more exaggerated arcade modes offering different ways to play. Representative games: Kobe Bryant in NBA Courtside (1998): Builds its five-on-five basketball around exhibition, season and playoff competition. NBA Courtside 2 Featuring Kobe Bryant (1999): Adds a rule-bending arcade mode filled with extravagant dunks. NBA Courtside 2002 (2002): Takes arcade basketball to a rooftop court, with three-on-three games and special scoring hotspots. Suitable for: Basketball fans who enjoy finding an open teammate and timing a shot, but also appreciate some exaggerated dunking. The different modes let you settle into a season or chase points in a livelier arcade match.
