Overview

King of the Monsters is SNK’s giant-monster action series, putting enormous creatures into destructive battles across city landscapes. Heavy punches, kicks and special attacks carry the spectacle, with the sequel shifting the threat toward an alien invasion. Representative games: King of the Monsters (1991): Lets six selectable monsters battle across Japan using physical blows and destructive special attacks. King of the Monsters 2 (1992): Sends three playable monsters against aliens around the world, with a two-player cooperative mode.
