Overview

Hamster Club brings its small animal characters into pet-raising games and playful puzzle and quiz offshoots. Its raising games focus on nurturing individual hamsters, while the side games give the same cast different kinds of challenges. Representative games: Hamster Club (1999): Raises hamsters with different strengths, from athletic ability to charm, as you work toward becoming a master breeder. Hamster Club: Awasete Chū — puzzle spin-off (2000): Challenges players to arrange falling numbered blocks, with hamster characters providing helpful effects. Hamster Club 2 (2000): Adds minigames and more tricks to the hamster-raising routine. Suitable for: For anyone who enjoys watching a virtual pet develop its own little strengths. The raising entries offer ongoing care, while the puzzle offshoot provides a more direct block-arranging challenge.
