Overview

Frostpunk is a city-building and survival series set in a world gripped by extreme cold. You secure heat and supplies, organize work and shape the rules people live by; keeping a settlement running means weighing efficiency against the human cost. Representative games: Frostpunk (2018): Makes heating, scarce resources and laws governing daily life central to a city's survival. Frostpunk 2 (2024): Expands management to city districts and political negotiations with competing factions. Frostpunk: Beyond the Ice (2024): Reworks the setting for mobile play, adding features such as trading and social interaction between players. Suitable for: For players who enjoy planning under pressure and thinking about the consequences of a decision. Expect to revise your priorities as shortages and people's demands pull your city in different directions.
