Overview
Conker follows Rare’s squirrel through exploration, platforming and comic misadventures. The series ranges from a playful handheld treasure hunt to deliberately adult comedy, with a mixed-reality showcase taking the action into the player’s room. Representative games: Conker’s Pocket Tales (1999): Explore from an overhead view to recover stolen birthday presents. Conker’s Bad Fur Day (2001): Context-sensitive spots give Conker actions tailored to each absurd situation. Suitable for: For players who enjoy characterful adventures and unusual twists on familiar action. Pocket Tales offers a gentler treasure hunt, while Bad Fur Day suits adults who enjoy crude humor and movie parody; Young Conker explores a different kind of spatial play.
