Overview

Buzz! brings a television quiz show into the living room, complete with a cheeky host and rounds that can turn the scores around. Its console quizzes use dedicated buzzers to choose answers and race for the chance to respond. Music clips, pictures and general knowledge give different contestants a moment to shine. Representative games: Buzz!: The Music Quiz (2005): Builds its contest around music knowledge and recognising song clips. Buzz!: The Mega Quiz (2007): Broadens the questions to general knowledge and accommodates up to eight contestants. Buzz!: Quiz World (2009): Lets players tailor the subjects, round types and length of their quiz show. Suitable for: For groups who enjoy pub quizzes, playful rivalry and discovering who remembers an unlikely fact. Expect lively rounds where knowing the answer and pressing at the right moment both matter.
