About this game
William rises from a battlefield of corpses into an altered nineteenth-century Europe. Swordplay, parrying, firearms and Transmutations offer different ways to handle the creatures in his path. A weapon in one hand can be paired with another tool or power, making distance and attack timing part of each confrontation. Lanterns provide places to recover, but resting also brings defeated enemies back. Death leaves accumulated Catalysts behind, putting progression resources at risk. New traversal abilities open earlier paths, linking mastery of combat with the search for shortcuts, secrets and routes through the landscape.
